SIC Launches Fall/Winter Seminar Series
This fall and winter, SIC will be inviting to seminars by a series of speakers from the Danish research community. The talks are open to everyone and accessible online.
Acting Executive Director Charlotte Menné Bonefeld is pleased by the great variety of perspectives on skin and inflammation offered by SIC’s immediate community:
“We’ve put together an exciting series of talks by some of the best researchers from across Denmark. They will each provide their unique insights to skin-related research, and we will cover areas ranging from stem cell biology to the clinical aspects. It will be an unique opportunity for cross-disciplinary discussions and sharing of scientific ideas”, she says.
The seminar series includes the following speakers:
26 October 2020: Assistant Professor Mette Schjærff, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, UCPH – ‘Atopic dermatitis in dogs – a shared disease complex between man and his best friend’
9 November 2020: Associate Professor Mirna Perez-Moreno, Department of Biology, UCPH – ‘Immune cells at the skin stem cell niche: sticking together through the good and the bad’
17 November 2020: Professor Celeste Porsbjerg, Bispebjerg Hospital – ‘From mechanistic insights to novel treatments for severe asthma – entering an era of targeted management’
