Open call for Letters of Interest: Executive Director to the LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center (SIC)

The leadership of the SIC represents a once-in-a-life-time opportunity for an outstanding and determined scientist to build international impact, game-changing innovation, medically relevant discoveries, and to directly benefit patients. The Executive Director will be head of the SIC and accountable for its strategic development, scientific direction, faculty recruitment, and long-term growth and success and will build on the strategic plan laid out in the Center’s founding charter, but will continuously evaluate and evolve it to best fulfill the Center’s mission and vision.

The Search Committee are seeking an internationally recognized researcher within the general area of immunology and experience/interest in the skin and skin diseases and with an outstanding scientific track record, sufficient to qualify for a full professorship at the University of Copenhagen. The Executive Director will be based full time at the Center, where she/he will lead a research laboratory addressing scientific areas in skin immunology and related scientific fields. The Executive Director will also have demonstrated visionary and inspirational leadership.
